Which is worse and puts more strain on the motor???

1. During acceleration rev the car a little higher only half throttle?

2. Or keeping it in higher gears and have the peddle to the floor keeping the tach in the low rpm range???

If the motor sounds like it is straining to make power... Shift to a lower gear... Chances are if your flooring it to move at a steady pace, your causing the engine too much stress... Cars talk, you just have to listen...

are you talking about going up a hill? if you have to floor it to keep going then you need to downshift. the engine is designed to be above 2k, its better to be on the gas less
