x2.

your car will put out some white smoke as the water evaporates, but there is nothing wrong with your car.
you have to be worried when there is blue-gray smoke coming out your exhaust

lol its just accumulated condensation shot out as steam... no worries. all cars do this when they've been sitting around while off in the cold for long periods of time.

for asking retarted question in the beginning. if every little thing a car does bothers/concerns someone they shouldnt own a car.

maybe some people aren't as mechanically knowledgeable as you are. we are all here to give good advice and to receive good advice, no need to give him bad advice and tell him to get an expensive repair done.

expecting everything to be perfect in a new car should be expected...thats what i would want or i'd be pissed. he's just making sure there is nothing wrong with his car.

I can agree with most of that. but if every car spits out a little white cloud when it starts up you shouldnt be that concerned if your car does it too.

Thank you... unfortunately alot of "newer" members post repeated questions or those that are common knowledge...... however i'd hope that most veteran members would pick up the ball and help first before pointing out this has been covered.

Not everyone can operate a forum on day 1.

And with all the negative energy wasted on responses ... members could compile a FAQ with data that would facilitate the problem at hand.

.....food for thought.

if you're seeing a puff of blue smoke in your rear view mirror when you shift, it isn't a "little puff".

if you are putting out blue smoke...you are burning oil. i think you will need to explain your driving patterns and what you have done to your car. blue smoke could be head gasket as fg2quik said or piston rings (and maybe some other major issues?).

if you recently did an oil change, make sure you didnt add too much oil. that can cause you to put out smoke as well.

Blue smoke could also be valve seals...

Yea do a compression and Leak down test. Remember, it's not so much what the numbers are, but that they are all consistent.

If the headgasked was blown it would overheat I dont see it being the headgasket for the blue smoke , if anything it would be the rings the oil ring gets carbon deposits on it and makes honda smoke would just need new rings if this was the problehem.
