What is the maximum cam timing variance(from factory setting) you can use without getting into a....
piston to valve clearance problem.

the area with the most area of concern is your exhaust
valves. they close later after TDC than the GSR cams
no doubt:
GSR 7deg after TDC at dead 0
ITR 10deg after TDC at dead 0
SS1 16deg after TDC at dead 0 , estimated based on duration spec of 249
a strict engine builder type would say, dude clay check the thing:

mind that the markings are 2 degrees on the crank, this
is important. +4 on the gear would be +8 at the crank.

no worries dude... also thats a pretty big overlap period
over the CTR, like 35... I would go with a thinner head
gasket to get your compression up a bit more. you will
see a benefit for sure.
