Default Boost on F23?

Anyone know how much a f23 can hold on boost?

Im currently tuning for 25psi stock internals (on a bet)on a gt40(pics in sig)

and i'm building a second block.

planning on running k20a3 forged internals, any input would be grateful, as far as 25 pounds ehh, if it blows it blows, its a 10 second car, its a toy.

its not going to hold 25 psi from a gt40 for very long...

I would get that spare block done cause at minimum your probably going to destroy the ring landings and lift the head in short order... with tuning from say, someone like... god... you may last a few runs before this happens.

DO IT and let us know how it comes out, you could be the one to find out it will hold long enough to push the stock block f series numbers past the current 400ish whp level.

GL with that....its hard enough for the stock f23 to last a while on 15+ boost.

lol, ya wasnt gonna put arp's in on this motor the other motor was deff planning on it.

We lifted the head on the b18 at 24, made a interesting oil spray lol

So what are the weak point on the f23?
are the sleeves crappy like the h22?
so far ive put it to 175 shot of nos with only one backfire and it didn't do nothing other than throw timing off. but it runs again after new belt

mind you this is a 1822# 95 civic 2dr aka gokart

i actaully had to trim part of the block to fit the turbo, the front mount was in the way
and had to make a manifold to fit it inthe bay since room was a issue.

no the sleeves in the f22/f23 are iron unlike the frm sleeves of gheyness in the h22.

as I indicated in my first post, the typical n/a honda weak ring landings and head bolts are the 2 problem points I would believe you would have to deal with in short order.

hmm not much i can do with the stock internals, i suppose i can get arp heads this week sometime and put them on the stock motor. I haven't even looked into that yet. Am i going to have to pull the rollers off to put the studs in?

What im trying to find out is , do i have to use the k20a2 or the k20a3 rods and pistons????

I'm thinking about going i beams because i do rev the motor out to 9500 sometimes on nitrous. (it sounds sick at high rpm)
planning on dropping rev to 8500 on boost with 100 shot nitrous at 4-8 to keep detonation down.

i have been looking at cp pistons with 9/1 comp, hopefully i can keep the motor under 10/1. Car only runs on 110octain really any ways, 93 it detonates.

You won't need to sleeve it. 9psi is the max I would EVER run on any F series stock. I'll be running about 7-8 on my F22B1

Well I'll be damned. 2020 and running a 1999 Honda Accord "coupe" 2.3 at 15 psi all stock.. no tune.. map bypass block, 440cc 42psi inject " with obd1 to obd2 adapter". And no piggy back.. tdo4 turbo .63 with manual adjust.... With original "glass trans"... Step up and work on it peeps...stop loosing your old man's tools.....

My second car is a 1999 dodge neon coupe with 420a bone stock..."show room".. Still blows away Honda's.
