Default light out in climate control console

yea, im too lazy to search right now. but a light went out right behind the climate control **** the bottom one. so my whole bottom left console is out and half of my middle **** is lit. do I just carefully yank at the console to pop it off and change the bulb or least check whats wrong?

pop lower cover off about center console. 2 8mm bolts poijting strraight up. take them out. than you can pop your whole radio/climate control out of the dash. in behind , theres little white bulb holders with a flathead groove. turn them half and pop them out. they go. mine went too , i bought an LED conversion kit off ebay , little soldering and work involved in it , but its fukin nice. well was nice , im sporting an rsx dash now.

The same thing happened to me. It turned back on, but since i popped the radio/climate control back out to install sirius, it turned off again.

crap, mine are like that too. so how do you change the bulbs for the cruise and roof switch? and do you just lightly tug to remove the climate console?

i just took my three switches out for cruise, roof, and mirrors and prep'd them for future bulb replacement. it's a PITA to take it out @ 15 degree weather!! lol.
first, unscrew the screw that's inside and above-middle of the coin tray...
go upside down looking up towards steering column and pinch the two tabs that hold the plastic section of the switches + coin tray (it comes out as a whole piece) and push away from front of car. dont have pics but can post if needed. sorry injured finger so i type really bad grammar right now. lol
then, move to a warmer place, and remove the three switches; now u can see where the bulbs are located (side of each switch)!
