How to take out the heater control
how do i take out the heater control , that is above the radio ?
i need to change a switch on it .
but i dont know where the screws are at
and how does it come out

i asked this before...someone said that you gotta go from under the center console, and look up...there should be screws along there...i haven't got to doin' it yet...so i dont know exactly where it is..but they say its under it somewhere.

I've done it! Well sort of... I replaced my lightbulbs in the climate control unit when they burnt out last summer. What do you need to do? Take it out completely?
Well for a start, remove the lower center console unit, you will need to disconnect the ashtray light plug. When the console is removed, then reach underneath your radio and loosen the screws holding it in. Disconnect the wires in the back of it (btw, do you know your radio code?). Slide the radio out. Then work underneath the climate control unit and loosen the screws holding it in. The ***** on the slider controls just pop off. Use a little leverage with them.
And have fun putting it all back together. lol.
