Question about '04 RSX headlight replacement
I want to replace my headlights with those cool ones 6000-8000k
But I dont know if I need a conversion kit, or I can just buy the actual light bulb unit and just replace it with the old one?
Would that work, or I need the conversion kit?\
Thanks

For that all you need is a new pair of bulbs. I'd tell you not cheap out but colored headlight bulbs are cheap anyway.
And by cheap I don't mean price-wise either. And no, I don't know of any companies the make/sell the best bulbs.

Cool blue lights - $20 .....
Replacing said lights 2 months later when they blow - $20 .....
Buying H.I.D.s and having no problems - Priceless
The best way out for lighting upgrades would be to go with a Xenon H.I.D. kit. I used to go through those lights all the time with my old truck. It was pointless because they ALWAYS blew out in less than two months!

I don't know what kind of bulbs that guy was using, but in another car I had the Xenon gas bulbs (cool blue or hyper white) and they were just as good as plain ol' bulbs and lasted almost 2 years at a time. Only problem is that they actually produce less lumens than the standard halogens (and are impossible to see in rainy weather). Upgrade to HIDs for sure (at least down the road) for real road illuminating power.
