Default '95 Civic DX D15B7 to B18C1 - ECU wiring Q

I've asked about this out on HAN, but no one seems to know and if anyone has done a civic B18 swap they should know so I'm relying on you people.

1) How do I remove the wires from the back of the ECU harness under the dash? Yes, I know that the back of the harness opens up on the top and bottom, I just need to know how to hold the barb up to slide the wire out. I know that Honda offers a tool for this, but I went down there yesterday and they tried to sell me a $90 kit and I'm not about to pay that when I'm only going to use it once for the A20 to A17 position swap. There must be a simple way.

2) Where do I purchase new crimp-on connectors to run the VTEC wire, knock sensor wire... etc. into the ECU harness under the dash? The Honda dealership doesn't have a part number so, to them, the part doesn't exist. If I could figure out how to remove the connectors from the ECU harness (see Q 1) I could take one down there to show them and maybe get new ones.

I appreciate the help in advance!
