Any aid in my suspension selection?
so... I plan on getting suspension for Christmas and I'm not exactly sure what I want... I was looking at the Tokico illumina suspension kit (tokico springs and struts), koni reds and eibach sportsline and my friend said he heard good things about tokico HP blues... I daily drive the car and I don't think I need adjustable springs because I know I will never be out in my driveway adjusting all the perches. I'm thinking I would like adjustable dampening (just for the days I feel like some really spirited driving), which I think the illuminas have. Do you think I will actually use the dampening tho.... it is a dd and will not be tracked
-if you have any other suggestions I would like to hear them, but something reasonable... remember it's a dd

Why bother with adjustable dampening? Rather, why bother paying for it?
The Blues are good shocks. I had them on my Teg and thought they were great. I hear they're being made somewhere else now, so the quality is supposedly lower these days. Might want to check into that.
As for the springs, I'd steer you toward the Tanabe GF-210's. Reasonably priced, offer good performance, and don't have a bouncy ride. G/L!

i had the tokico blues with ground controls and the set-up worked well. i recently changed to koni yellows and tein springs and I liked this the most out of any set that I have had. the shocks are height and dampening adjustable and at $600 for the whole set you really cant go wrong.
