Default evo h2b half moon adapter ?

im going to be starting my h2b project this week for my 95 coupe.Im starting to buy my parts needed and i noticed the evo kit has 2 adapter plate avaliable, the full plate and half moon. Also there is a 150 dollar difference. My question is, what is the real difference in the two plates other then price and the obvious, one being half moon and the other full? THANKS HT in advance

the mounts should be fine. doesnt the evo kit offer hasport mounts? if it does than its the same thing a b-series mount is a b-series mount.

the evolution kit uses their own mounts. The mounts with the kit are designed specifically to work with the kit and position the engine and trans at a certain angle to clear the hood.

BEst to go with the full Evolution kit so there are no mix and match issues. remember the mounts were made to fit a certain way with a B trans and H motor. the angles are different from a regular swap. if you go with another company's mounts, one may fit, the others may not fit properly.

Exospeed answered your question completly... Go ahead and cheap out mix it up and have to replace the parts that dont fit correctly.

when purchasing the evo kit you must use evo mounts plain and simple.

If you would like to go with different mounts then go with the QSD plate....

Evo Full moon, or signature Bisimoto half moon? It is up to you, the consumer. I run and prefer the half moon as it mimics the engine, and offers some weight savings. The very first honda-to-honda drag adapter plate that I designed was of half moon variety, and hence the "signature-series". Some people prefer the Evo full moon that mimics the trasmission. With either choice you wll get the quality and precision that your deserve.

BTW, do not skim on parts: the complete kit is the way to go. I hope that helps.
