Hi guys,

This probably sounds like a stupid question, how would i go about adjusting the tension on my A/C compressor belt? Is there a tensioner? I drive a EJ1 with a JDM D15B VTEC.

The issue i have is, when the A/C is turned on, a high pitched squealing noise occurs but once the system has "caught up," its quiet, but when revved into higher rpms, the squeak/squeal happens again and worsens.

Now, i looked under there, and it sits on a bracket attached to the crankcase, but i dont see how/where i can adjust it. I already know the belt is freakin loose since the deflection is huge, now i mean, a HUGE play.

I have already searched for this problem, and i came up with that it could be that the belt isnt tight, or the compressors clutch is going bad. I want to tighten up the belt first before i go out and replace the the compressors clutch.
