Radio removal & ac vent replacement
Sorry if this is a repost but I have searched and found a guide to remove the radio for every year except 88-91...If anyone has a link for it it would be greatly appreciated. Also, I need to replace the middle a/c vents because it's driving me insane...anyone know how to replace these? Total noob when it comes to this year.
Annd the left blinker blinks faster than the right, that means its just burn out right? not something more seriously hopfully?
Thanks

That radio is so easy to remove...I'm not going to say more than remove the screws holding the molding on, and then remove the few screws holding in the radio...Hopefully the one hiding behind the glove box won't give you any problems...(hint hint)
The blinker blinks faster b/c you more than likely have a bulb out...turn your blinkers on and walk around your car and you'll find a bulb not working....
easy
easy
thanks for the replies..i just figured out the radio, didn't think it would be that easy heh...but i cant figure out the vents. the rear left blinker is out, i really just wanted to make sure that was why it was blinking so fast...just got the car so still figuring everything out

your right to question your blinker fluid resevoir could have a leak

haha yeah it took me a few minutes to find that one. Are there any other oem radios that will work with this without modifiing anything?
it figures that the only radio that will actually work with the harness is also the only one that wont fit...
AND does anyone know if there are places you can get adapters for the harness? it had one just doesn't fit the radio...
thanks

unless you want to keep it stock just go get an aftermaket radio/CD player. It will slide right in no problem, the wire harness will give you most trouble but a lot of car stereo places offer free installation.
Of course I dont rust to many people to work on my car Best Buy was quick to do it and I just went home and pulled it all out and made sure it was properly done. They did a good job at tangling all my wires and **** together....
so double check it if you go this route, otherwise changing the wireharness is the way to go if you want to stay stock but have a new radio.

It actually came with an aftermarket sony radio, they just didn't know where the faceplate was, turned out to be in the case under the carpet in the back seat. found it when I was vacuuming.
