I'm looking at trading in my wifes 04 Civic Si for an Element SC. The local dealer here has an 07 used with 3,700 miles (they sold new) that I can get for $20,900. On the trade, they offered me the SC for her car and $9,000 difference. Basically, that's getting the Element for $20K and them giving me $11K for her car.

A dealer not so close to here has a brand new 08 SC and I'm waiting to hear back from him on a deal. I've heard you can buy a new 08 for around $21,900. Any truth to that?

What's the average going price for the used 07's, and what are the new 08's selling for?
