I'm Screwed!!! HELP ME Someone!!
I just drove over to my girls house and I noticed a clicking sound from my rear right tire. When I accellerate a little hard or let of the gas right away and the car starts slowing down... thats when I hear the clicking sound. Anyone know the problem? Is it my suspension? My rear drums? My rims? Its making me very nervous cause I have to take a 30 min drive home soon. I dont want to drive and have the wheel fall off or something. Should I take it to the shop right away in the morning? Any suggestions? I'm getting paranoid!!! HELP ME SOMEONE!!
hmm...might wanna try a visual inspection to see if any rocks are stuck anywhere in your tire/rim/brakes...I dont really know man...
OH YEAH! thanks for whatever mod gave me a title!
I feel so special now!

does it do it in neutral or only when braking?
also how are the rear shoes on the drums?
is the wheel torqued properly?
my advise is to :
lift the rear, take it out of parking brakes/e-barkes, spin the wheel and listen
then take the wheel off, remove the drum check how is everything, any wear? spin the hub listen....
look around in the wheel well, check the wheel tire, check your complete traling arm

is your wheel on all the way tight?
have your girlfriend drive it while you are outside and see if you can see where the noise is coming from.....and did you say your car was slowing down on it's own?? maybe its your brakes sticking......good luck
I checked the lugnut. I dont think thats it.
LOL
sorry I had to say it.
did you tighten them all with a lugwrench again?
the symptoms you have are those of a wheel bearing. --->forces of acceleration and deceleration (negative acceleration actually) change the equlibrium of the bearing surfaces: the wheel and the axle/spindle.
this is how you know it is a bearing issue, well most likely it is....
a lugnut problem would be audible while coasting. sorry for my previous posts.

Sounds like its coming from the rear? But might it be coming from the front? There is a piece of metal where the stock intake used to be and I think it is possibly rubbing against my AEM intake? Maybe thats why when I slow down and the engine shifts it might be rubbing against it causing a clicking sound? I bent the piece of metal out of the way and will be making a test drive after I have dinner. If anyone every made this noobie mistake please let me know.
