Default Timing belt replacement.

Does anyone think they could hook it up with a "how to" on replacing a timing belt. i am pretty scared to attempt doing it but i really need to change it.

the squeeky noise that was coming from it is getting worse.

I may be wrong but does't a squeeky timing belt indicate that its on too tight?

Accessory belts normally squeak, because they're slipping.

Timing belts have teeth and don't slip in the same manner. Have you checked the accessory belts?

There is no better how-to than the helms manual on doing a timing belt, and I've never seen one around here with real pictures, but it is pretty simple.

If your a/c is still in there, you have a tensioner, there is a bolt on the front of it, 10mm head.

Loosen the upper and lower bolts on the alternator so it can slide, and then use that bolt to put more tension on the belt.

Get it so that it is tight enough so as to not let you turn it more than 90 degrees with two fingers, when gripped in a large open section.

I wouldn't call a t-belt change 'simple' but yeah, the Helms does a good job explaining it.
