Does it only shake under throttle? Could be a bunch of things as others have stated. Also... only in 5th gear?

that is what I think too. see if it is vibrating in 5th gear only... ie take the car for a ride at 50-60 in 4th gear, or go a little faster in 5th and pop it out of gear and see if the vibration goes away... if it does, easy fix, go to your tire shop and have it balanced.

could be the inner joint of the cv, mine did it at all speeds basically at a certain throttle position

it vibrates and makes a faint rattling noise in 4th gear...but more in 5th gear...it stops when i get off of the pedal...also it doesnt happen all the time and is kinda subtle so its hard to figure it out...i thought it was my tire needing to be balanced, or my wheel was bent...but if that were true wouldnt it shake/vibrate at all speeds?

just got my wheels checked out and it seems like my tires were balding and there was a bump on one tire...so i bought new tires...now theres no vibration but there is still that kind of knocking noise when i step on the gas in about 4th gear...the noise isnt always there, it seems like it comes up if i drive the car for a while...

anyone have any ideas what it could be?
