Default V-tech problems

I'm having a fuel cut at 7 grand and my v-tech isn't kicking in. Everytime I start my car my check engine light automatically comes on. Anyone know what my problem might be?

Check your oil is the first thing I'd do.

Wow jokes. I guess I come to the people that might know what's wrong with my car and would help me because maybe they've been there but no. It's a joke. Thank's for the help.

you'll need to give us more information for people to help you

there are MANY, MANY things that could be wrong

people have given you suggestions so far, one person comments on your spelling of VTEC and you go wiggy.

find out what the CEL code is first

if the cel light is on, there's a problem, get it diagnosed before you start saying anything about people helping you.

cause really, if your cel is on, there could be so much things wrong its not even funny, get it checked to see what codes your throwing.

heres what we need from you to help. Any mods you have done to your car. Assuming you have a b18c since your posting in the type r forum. Do you have a JDM swap or a USDM car or USDM swap. If you have a Cel, i reccomend that you take your car to autozone and they will run a diagnostic for free if you are running a OBD2 ecu.

P.s. Its a standard to flame anyone who misspells vtec

Yeah, just need a little more information for us to try and help you with your problem, pull the code(s) from your CEL and post them up.

Check your cel light and work for them. Your Ecu went into a safety mode which is not allowing vtec to work and the fuel to cut out early. Is your speedo working.

my buddys da gsr would randomly go from running fine, to no vtec. nothing wrong with the car otherwise, just felt comparable to driving an rs, no power past 5600. cel would come on randomly. check the wire connecting to your vtec solenoid, his was loose so everytime he hit a big pothole or sewer lid the wire would barely come out of contact, still looked fine, but had to be wiggled back into place. as for the fuel cutoff, not sure.

2. Check Vtec screen
3. check vtec wiring
4. check fuel pressure
5. all else fails take it to a shop
