Default D15B Swap into an EF

I ran a search and couldn't find anything specific as to what I'm looking for.

I just need a basic rundown of what's required for a D15B swap into an '89 Civic SI.

Do I need after market mounts? Do I need to do any rewiring? If so, what kind of wiring?

Any help is appreciated, thanks guys.

vtec or non? if its an si why put a d15? it comes with a d16.

anyways, you dont need anything if its still obd0, but if your only changing the motor, and not the manifolds, then you dont need to rewire anything. and if its vtec you just have to wire up the vtec and get the right ecu, ect.

yea i did a D15B vtec into my 88 CRX Dx u dont need new mounts or anything u can just reuse ur old ones all u need is to call Rywire and get a conversion harness if ur gonna do 0BD0 to 0BD1 its really not too big a deal but like the guy above me said....why go down to 1.5 when it comes stock with a 1.6. Try and stick with that, but good luck
