Default spring compression tool?>

Do i need some sort of special tool to remove my factory springs to replace with aftermarket ones? i was told i would

yup looks like this,

you should be able to rent the tool needed at just about any autoparts store.

Advance auto, it was like 100 bucks. use it, take it back, get 100 back.

make sure you get the one that clamps on the outside of the coils, and check it at the store.

i drove 30 min to advance, got one, drove 30 min back to my house....WRONG ONE!!!

i got to do that driving again

but then again we used like 3 pairs of vice clamps n the bolt n washer still shot out into the barrel.
