Default Will a 225/50-15 tire work on a DD eg coupe?

I asked about slicks a couple weeks ago, but money is gonna be tight, so i need the grippiest tires I can get for DD use, instead of having dd rims and drag rims and slicks. I'm looking into getting a drag/street radial for my 95 Civic EX. Right now I'm leaning towards getting the Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial:
http://www.mickeythompsontires...adial

Regardless of what brand that I go with, mh has a dot legal radial but it doesn't look very daily drivablem what is the widest tire that I can go with on a 15x7.5 rim without rubbing and keep it daily drivable WITHOUT modifying the fender, I need to be able to turn all the way to the left and to the right... I have adjustable coil overs, I'm guessing I'll need to jack the front up??? Thanks in advance guys

Same here. Have driven on both the 225s and 205s on the coupe.

So with what size tire better suits your setup

225=23.9
205=22.6

so basically turbo set ups are 225x50 or 235x60's
n/a's are 205's unless its a big boy N/A set up

I drove around on 225/50 15 bfg's for about a week on some Rotas and they would rub before full lock. Depends on the offset of the rims I guess.
