Does the 99-00 ek" usdm climate control harness, plug and play with the jdm ctr climate control, also can you swap the us vents ?

is the 96-98 climate control panal any different form the 99-00 climate control panal?

the harness is plug and play however that is pretty much where it ends. i have 99-00 ctr climate control housing w/the a/c heater controls and it plugs right up. it fits in the dash as the usdm one does however the vents dont mach up as they are on opposite sides. the metal brackets for the radio that attach to the climate control housing do not match up either to the car itself. you would need the jdm ctr a/c ducts for the center and rig the ends of the center vents some how(cut and glue??) so they would attach to the ctr climate control and properly deliver cold or hot air.

 

damn thats alot of work

i found that the vents from a 96-98 are better fitment.

 

So get the trusty utility knife and make her fit you say?
