EK climate control
what year did the climate control change? from what year to what year? I have an 98 dx and is trying to get an jdm ctr climate control panel for my car.....help....cause i now the 96 and the 00 are different../help

96-98 and 99-00 each had different designs.
If you want to use the 99-00 CTR Climate control you have to change a few things behind the dash.

Why do you want to change it anyway. A JDM climate control looks the same, just the cigarette ligther, hazard, and defroster are on different sides. That's why it isn't plug and play by the way, because you would have to modify the harness that plugs into the hazard and defrost.
If you want it cuz its amber, just change/paint the bulbs in your stock one.

Tony you are from Cali right? Hella is a Cali word, yes it may have spread to other parts of the US but it originated in Cali.
At least when I was in cali five years ago "hella" was the word, and now I hear it daily.

For the original poster: just do a 99 dash conversion and you will have a better Climate Control and it will be Amber.
