ok so i wired up my sidemarkers to the turn signal wire(simple splicing and whatnot)

PROBLEM- when i turn the car on they work if im not givin it gas,but the second i start going,it blows the fuse,what do i need to do so it doesnt do that.im not to electronic savvy

maybe you got a short, did you try a slightly biggger fuse

 

ok i spliced the sidemarker wires into the turn signal wires,so they would come on when i put on my blinker.now i did it and they worked fine just testing them out when i wasnt moving.the second i start moving and givin gas,it blows the fuse and my blinkers dont work.

the fuse is a 7.5 and i even tried a 10 and it still blew it

 

recheck you connections and make sure everthing has good contact! up the amps to 15 if it dont work(not recomended but can be done)

 

bump for all the views but no bumps

 

sounds like a bad ground to me.
