im in the middle of buying a LS swap from a kid i know and he's claiming i can use a P28 from my d16z6 and it plug and plays with the LS... i call but i dont know

 

It will run...but since it's an LS it'll throw a CEL for no VTEC.

I'm running a chipped P28 on my GS-R (B18C1)

 

will it run like its supposed to? or run like ****?

 

It will run it, but a little on the lean side and cel will be on. It will be driveable though, but just don't drive it hard as it will be lean.

 

alright. a different friend of mine whose been swapping honda's just told me if im going to swap my car, do it right. which i cant agree more. i just need to find a complete LS swap now. i dont feel like buying every part. and nore do i know what i need to be honest. this is going to be my 1st swap and i have him helping out. im stoked to start it.

 

You could probably find an LS ecu SOMEWHERE...don't get me wrong, a complete swap would be ideal, but it's not like the parts are super rare or anything.

 

yea, its just i dont know what to buy, i cant tell if its in good condition or not and so on. i want to find a complete ls swap with roughly around 100k for around 1,000 and ive been looking for about a month, and i CANT find one. and i refuse to buy one from Hmotors or some online store for 1,900 or something minus shipping.

Try and find a wrecked Integra or something...that way you'll have everything needed.

 

1.6liter fuel map running a 1.8 liter motor..... not a good idea IMO.
