I'm not positive about this but it sound like that p28 just has a more aggressive fuel map than the p75. That may account for the more fluid power you described. But I don't think that really means that ECU is the better one to be running. I'd double check the wiring for the OBD2 to 1 conversion and than possibly try a different p75. If that doesn't work than maybe it might be something mechanical with the engine, not electrical.

so other than running lean i will be ok? if so i can have it chipped and it should be good right? another? if you chip it is there any way to have the vtec part taken out or overided? if any one knows the fuel diff from a p28 to a p75 i would like to know. i do know that the injectors from obd1 d series and obd1 b series are the same. but any more ppl wit more ideas are welcome....... the more i know the better off i will be

If the ecu is chipped, you can put whatever you want on the ecu. There's options to eliminate the vtec cel. You can also have it programmed to spit for fuel out, but i'd recommend getting it tuned for it tho, get the correct a/r ratio.

The stock p75 wouldnt rev past 6k rpm? Was it an auto ecu? Were you throwing any codes?

no i dont want my car ro rev past 7200.... i dont know if it was auto i dont think so but who knows.... i got the p28 in my car right now i traded my chipped p75 for it. i got my fuel pressure at 50lb at ideal. when i get the money i will chip it to get ride of the vtec cel. but should i change the fuel curve.....and if so what do i change it to.. every one says p28 has a bigger fuel curve but my spark plugs say its running lean ( that was wit 40lb fuel pressure, havent checked them since). all i wanna know is that it is safe to run my motor on the p28, cuz it runs great. i have a 68mm tb a fpr headers exhualt thats about it.
