Default Help with HID info.... Ballasts and wiring stolen...

So my car got stolen and they had took whole setup out of the car... I only have the bulbs and pigtails hanging out of my headlight.. They were 6000k's and idk what I need to get to get them working again.. I know I need ballasts and the wiring harness, but how do I know which company made them? Are they all the same?

any help appreciated.

They stole your hid kit's ballasts?

Sounds like you have a hid kit.. just swap it back to halogen.

and do a stealth alarm install

HID kits, are $75 on ebay.. you get 2 ballasts and 2 bulbs.

Any 6000k set will work????

The HID's are mounted inside the headlight and I have SiR headlights, so I would have to get the whole stock setup which would be be harder than just replacing the HID's...

If you have a pnp kit in your headlights now... cause it sounds like you do...

a new pnp kit, with bulbs is $75 shipped on ebay.

---------------

swapping it back to halogen, just requires you to buy the right halogen bulbs.. and if you didn't mess with the stock wiring, it should plug right in.

--------------

Now if you had a retrofit... you wouldn't be asking what to do...

I didn't mess with the wiring the car came this way. There is no pigtails for the stock headlights. I am still sorting through this cars problems and have never had HID's. It is a PNP kit, I found one that looked like the one I have but I didn't know whether to get the h1 h4 or what.

What you need are the ballasts which come with the oem headlight connector to ballast harness.

$25 each on ebay by a compnay ConceptDesignz. I've bought 3 kits for me and freinds, 3yrs no problems, excellent customer service. Try them out.
