problem: my climate controls are blowing in opposite directions sorta. defrost is face position and face position is defrost.
edit:
solution
tools required: flat head
8mm socket
ratchet
flashlight
there is a moving mechanism under the climate on the driver side. when you turn on the fan and press the directions on the climate control you will see it move back and forward. there is a size 8mm nut loosen that up, take it off if you want. you will put it back on later. then take a flat head and pry the lever so it unclips. its fastened on by splines/teeth. now just get the position and the buttons in sync. it takes some time but what i found easy was pressing the defrost button and pressing the whole moving mechanism toward the firewall so the the flap is set to the correct defrost position. if you do it face direction first and pull the whole mechanism toward you, you might notice some play when you tighten the 8mm bolt back up. thats it. and on mine i left maybe 2 mm gap from front and back so its not directly flush. hope this explains it all.
