Alright guys. It is the giving season and someone is giving me about 150 bucks.


I am trying to decide the best mod for my 03 EP3 that is around 150 bucks. I will pitch in a little myself if needed.


So far I have thought of the Buddy Club short shift kit or getting a front mount external oil cooler? They are both in that price range but benefit different ways. I also like the red TYPE R valve cover on Ebay for about that much too. I am looking for anything performance oriented and some cosmetic oriented stuff too. (No stereos or stuff like that though)

So I wanna know what you did to your EP3 with 150ish dollars and what you think of it??? I am wondering what gains you got and stuff too. Help me out.


My EP3 is lowered on B+G Springs, and has an AEM CAI and a Magnaflow exhaust with a Megan racing header. So that is all out...

 

Nothing in that list will make you faster.

Spend the cash and get a good set of front brake pads and some motor mounts.

Also, look at the FAQ because there is a list of inexpensive go-fast goodies for the EP3.

 

I am not looking for go fast. Just something good. Even performance stuff like strut bars or something that helps handling extra. Not really looking for more horse power.

 

Well if you cant decide, just spend the money on stickers and euros, proven power! j/k In all honesty, id probably buy the sway or strut bars and call it a day. Its not more power, but its something you'll notice when you drive and its and improvement to the car! I do like the type r valve cover, but it just sits under the hood being pretty, it rather handle better.

 

JDM ITR sway. prolly the best 100 bucks you will spend.

 

Don't title your thread like you were going to give some advice and then you ask a quesiton. I'd get a rear sway, springs, or a torque dampener.

Yeah for $85 more you can get the Progress bling bar! I shouldn't talk, I have it but only paid $160 for the kit shipped/insured, brand new.

You'll get faster in one day then you will ever get.

All that other stuff is just bs and wont make you any faster.
If you want show items just say you want show items.

my double x-brace was 150ish. best bang for your buck right there.

 

yea you could get the H brace under the engine for about 80$
or since you sound like you dont want a fast car or a car that handles
just go get a pair of those black halo projector headlights, those are 150$

 

its all about the spoon etd.
wont get power but will hep with wheel hop.
