Default Just ordered my sync 200

Got a decent deal at 1800$ free shipping

itll be my first shot at TIG.. i cant wait to get goin with it..

Any tips/pointers to look out for with the Sync200 anything you guys like/dislike about the machine.

i know it wasnt the best option to buy a good welder right off the bat.. but i figured why not do it righ thte first time while i have the funds.

its a great machine and its always a good idea to get a great welder to start with, that way you dont waste your money on junk and later on have to upgrade anyways. see if your local college has a welding class so you can learn the basics

I can tell you that i've had a sync 200 for over a year with constant use and it's awesome, the only thing i'd advise you is a gas lense..

If you're welding really high amps and aluminum especailly look into getting a water cooler and a wp-20 torch.

No it was a great thing to buy that welder right off the bat you wont regret it. If you're just learning how to weld, and you need pointers thats what this forum is for. Alot of people on here helped me when I was just beginning.

the syncrowave has the pulsing option in it.

I put ~ 60 hours of welding and over 25k strikes on mine and NEVER had any issues.

I bought mine brand new.

I just sold it to get a Dynasty 200dx...(much lighter and HELLA smaller)

congrats on the purchase. Excellent choice!

Yeah all the 200's have them, I was one of the first to buy one. I remember calling up indian oxygen Saturday and they were questioning me about where I found out that they actually had them. Oh the memories. 1,800 out the door is not to bad, thats how much I payed when it first came out though. I would of thought they went down a little.

I had mine for about one year now. Its awasome. The only thing that I would trade it for is an inverter tig, just because they are much smaller. But that will not happen for a while.

turn off teh power from the pole, wire up 60amp breaker in the panel, wire garage with 6 gauge wire (could use 8), check your wiring, powa up.
