New toy
These are the first pictures on the net of this machine. The runner packcage came on it, did not even know it was coming like that because the machine is so new, miller does not even have it on there website.

Funny you bring that up
My electrician installed this, and the extension cord does not fit in there.

Either I will take the plastic clear part off and reinstall a bigger box, or have him come back and do it right.
Or I can by an extension cord that has a straight plug and not a right angle plug like the one b&r sells, but I don't know of anyone else that sells another extension cord.

Not sure yet, have not had time to mess with it.
Need to get another bench grinder

looks nice , let us know on that pulser , from the looks of it i would say i dosent seem to adjustable , if it is not like the full featured ones like on the 250 i would just stick with my 180sd

Ya does it say in the instructions anything about adjusting background amps and peak? Or is it just the PPS?

From what I've seen, the 200DX includes a pulser (not sure if it's adjustable other than PPS), aux 115V outlet on the front, dual digital gauges, and auto post-flow adjustment. Output is higher at 200A, with a 40% duty cycle at 150A. It also uses a different torch, IIRC.
I'm trying to decide between the Syncrowave 200DX and the Thermal Arc TA185. The TA185 has a fully adjustable pulser, plus it's an inverter, so it's much ligher (42 lbs) and pulls less current (40-ish amps at 185A welding output). Also, having adjustable AC frequency output is nice (can't do that on a transformer based welder). It doesn't hurt that it's $300 cheaper than the DX and getting rave reviews.
I just have a hard time buying something other than a Miller. Almost all the fabrication shops I've visited used Miller.
