Default Future hybrid info.

Well, I just read the other day that the 03 accord is going to be powered by the same 2.4 l motor in the new crv which has a k series motor, same series as 02- si's 01-rsx's 02-crv's and 00- s2000's. So that means all these cars are going to have interchangeable parts.

This of it, a stock *** looking accord with 2.4 l of displacement, and quite possibly well over the s2000's hp of 240 hp, just by swapping on a s2k head. I'd like to see a more accurate, educated write up on it.

But can you imagine the rsx motor with a s2ooo head and turbo?? heheh all I can say is sweet. Hope this comes true for me. hehe well good luck and I hope I see more write ups on this.

Yeah once I found out about the whole rsx/s2ooo thing I been trying to research it up the ying yang. I been talking to a local import shop and im going to go in and we are going to see numbers. But regardless its going to be expensive. But I want to see the potential of the rsx/s2ooo team work. I'll keep you guys posted on the prices and the specs if I do it. But hopefully everything goes good...and my wallet survives hehehe I can turbo it as well, well maybe. heehhe. Well good luck guys, and if you find more info on the rsx/s2ooo thing please send it to me or let me know about it. thanx

well i've heard of the s2000 head swap also, but don't think that it would be worth the money...you could get a head package from toda or jun (whenever they are available) for less and probably still get an extra 500-1000 rpms more of power...now the only major hybrid swap that has me thinking is the k24 crv block with the type-s head...the only major problem is you would need to rebuild the k24 block to be able to handle the high revs of the type-s head...but even then i don't think you would necessarily need to rev all the way up to 8k seeing that you would have so much freakin torque...but to me it wouldn't feel right...i am pretty confident that this setup will work and i would like to try it out when internals for the k24 block are available...

You know, people like the price tag of $32 K on the S2, and the accord, and the this and that, well, do you really think it'd be that cheap if some parts were not interchangeable
Look at the new camry, you can get a TL for the same price. Camry doesn't use to many carry over parts I don't think.

Seriously, think cost. Yeah, I know it costs us when we get our cars stolen, and yes, I drive an R. Yes I love that the stuff I take off my r goes into the civic. I like it.
