mpfi help??

Default mpfi help??

this has already been coverd prob but im doin the mpfi swap now and was wondering if i had to get the si fuel line comin from the fuel filter? will my dx line work?

The DX line will work okay, but you absolutely have to have that little plastic and metal thing that goes on the end of the Si fuel rail. I forget the name of it, but it was something weird.

Fuel pipe insulator, its about a $1 at the dealer.

Coulda sworn the metal piece that's like 24mm was more than that?

ok well i got it to fit thanks guys, but i have another question haha. for the coolant lines goin to the iacv, where do i route them. and also am i supposed to T off the vacuum source goin into the manifold for the map sensor and the purge solenoid

ok i just started it and it runs like crap. im gettn a code 8 which is tdc position, what would cause that? and also im gettn a code 16 which is injectors. i can smell straight gas coming out ot the exhaust so i think the injectors might be staying open. where should i start and check these problems?

Code 8, Did you remeber to switch the TPS wires? Code 16, check all your injector wiring for loose connections and proper location.

yeah i did. i just took everything out and rewired it back to dpfi so now i can say i had mpfi for a little haha. the dizzy i bought from some ******* on honda tech sold me a bad one so now i have to get another one. hey ef9si-t, whats that other sensor on the back of the mani that i got from you? its by the idle air controle valve. cus i couldnt find the connector in my engine bay for it

its the fast idle thermo valve. just leave it, there is no use for it.
