There is no half shaft for an Si tranny. Just use the long axle are you normally would. Why mess with something that is already prooven works?

Wipe the axle clean and see if you notice a color coding (stripe) painted around the axle, if you are lucky, the parts store will know what the color code is. NOT YELLOW, that is factory inspector.

The JDM ZC tranny which is technicaly a d series uses an intermediate shaft while the a6 does not. The ZC shaft will NOT fit the a6 tranny. So your dealer was correct in saying he had a d series intermediate shaft, just not for your car. If you did want to use equal length shafts you'd need 1. ZC tranny. 2. ZC intermediate shaft. 3. 1st gen B16 axles/B18 axles. This I know for sure as I have the same set up in my CRX.

Hey I'm from Kitchener. Don't listen to the fools at those import places man they just try to rip you off trust me I've delt with them from buying engines to interior parts to exterior parts. They are all cons, especially the overpriced Teknotiks.

If you ever need any work done, let me know.
