I got a question. when i was trying to race my friend. we started and i floor it from 3k rpm and up to 6000 and it choke like it wouldnt go higher even if i try. but motor did blew. i shift to 3rd gear rite away and drive fine. although engine lite did came on. Still driving fine. but car need tune up. Just wanted to know. Scared something might happend to motor.

 

It sounds like you have some kind of problem either with your vtec system or another problem that is causing it to rev limit there.

Stop street racing and read out the CEL and figure out what the check engine light is. For instructions on doing that, read the FAQ and search.

 

oh i c. well i dont think there is a rev limit. cuz other time i rev it pass 6k w/o probs. but thx i will look it up and see.
