i just put a 94 dx motor into my 92 dx hatch. and some wire colors dont match up to the engine and ecu harness. i am thinking thats why i cant get the fuel pump to turn on when the key is turned on. and also the starter wont do anything when i turn the key all the way over. but i tested both the starter and the fuel pump by jumping positve power to them and they both worked. why will it not work when i turn the key on and over in the start position???
ok when you jump your starter and it works dont mean it aint broke the solinoid could be bad! and as for your fuel pump wire that **** to a fuse for the igniton some how! i cant tell you how to do it but im sure you can figure it out!

any chance for a picture?? 92's are wired for vtec an **** and 94s arent.. "i have a 94" so I kno the wiring harness's are a bit different.. so in essence im sure your gonna have a couple extra wires left over..

Ok so whst wires are supposed to be left over? There are two on the engine harness and 4 on the chasis one. Which wires do i have to wire together? Also i have the blue/white starter wire on the chasis but not at the clip end in thecengine bay. Its like a9 or something in the ecu clip , but i dont see it on the other side in the engine bay

And on your engine harness what is the larger all blue wire on the larger clip by the battery.
have you checked the main relay ynder the driver side kick panel. and the different colors on the wiring harness dont mean anything. every plug only fits in one slot, so itcant be mixed up

does anyone have a picture of where it is? I looked for it and I couldn't find it, maybe its gone. Pics would help me find that sneaky bastard.
yeh dude its dark out... once i get up "i get up early like 6" ill take some pics of my harness's plugs an wires an we'll see if we can match'm... because the only wire changing I ever did was just wired my harness for Vtec.. So everything else should be identical...
