Default my 91 si build thread

so not too long ago i was driving and one of my rod bearings went out so i decided to rebuild my motor. im doing a mini-me swap. i have an A6 bottom end with a Y8 head. some of the parts im going with are:

high compression pistons
dc sports header and cat back
eagle H-beam rods
new crank
stage three cam
over sized valves
titaniaum springs and retainers
and so on im in high school and im doing this in class.

I will post pictures later today or tomorrow

but for now this is all i have

High compression pistons are cheap. Buy DOHC ZC pistons (PM7) for a good bump in your CR when using an A6.

i'll look in to that, thanks. im also doing some porting to the intake manifold, throttle boy, and head and also doing a 5-angle valve job. does anyone know what kind of hp this would put out? i was told around 150 which i kind of figured.

If your aiming for 150 you better buy an exo cam and some springs and retainers, PM7 pistons and a good tune.

i got my pm7s the other day along with my gasket set and bearings, i am now waiting on my rods, and crank.

what all will i need to get the vtec to activate? i know i need wires but will i have to do anything to my wiring harness?
