Transmission Swap
I'm new to this forum and I just bought a 93 Civic Sedan EX with a d16z6. Car looks pretty dope with the black housin projectors and rims it came with but I'm not interested in all show no go. Main Problem: car is automatic, so I was wondering if anyone has ever done manual transmission swap. If so around how much were the costs for parts (labor is not an issue right now) and if you guys have any other ideas for this car let me know.
Also, keep in mind that I'm 17 and I work a part time making minimum wage so I'm on a tight budget lol.

well the best information i can give you is to use the search feature available here on HT and search the civic faq at the top of the page ..i can garuntee you will find everything you need to know..
For the 92-95 auto to manual you are going to need the Hasport auto to manual mount.
Depending on where you pick up the parts (HT or Junkyard), I would expect to pay around 300 for the mounts, linkage, ecu, pedal assembly etc etc. Trans will run you about 200+ depending once again on where you find it and the condition it is in.
Luserkid did the write up on the 96-00 body. That should help.
