'08 LX with about 800 miles on it.

roughness on my initial start for the day. seems like its starting to happen even when the car is somewhat warm too.

add that to some real touchiness on the pedal, it'll jump forward sometimes when i'm hardly giving it gas.

what's up? any news on the '08s yet?

 

give it time to warm up, its normal no matter what car u drive, my old car did the same thing until i drove it for at least 10 miles then it smoothed out

 

well, it doesn't get *too* cold here in south florida. :-P

what i'm most concerned with is the rough starts.

 

ever manual transmission car man is going to do that.

 

The rough starting is curious to me. When the car is cold, it will lunge when you touch the gas. I usually let mine warm up for 5 minutes or so.

However, I never had any issues with a rough start. Maybe you have faulty injector or a vacuum leak someplace. You know, it would not hurt to take it in and get it checked.

mine just takes a sec to turn over, I let it warm all the way up before I drive it in the morning.

 

mother ******* at the dealership won't hear it

"the car hasn't even been broken in yet"

"it hasn't even had an oil change yet"

etc. etc.

 

my 07 when cold in the morning takes a few cranks to get it started and its way slugish if i dont warm it up

 

a friend took her '06 EX into the dealership for the same rough start problem.

they told her nothing was wrong.

lame.

Every manual car I have driven' did it, its normal... Dodge, Toyota, Honda, etc... The car is touchy till warm...
