i got a 91 civic hatch, its a 4 speed and its an ed6. i was wondering wat i rev at, my cuz was saying that it redlines like at 5k, but i thought it was like 6500ish whose right?

 

i think it depends on the ecu you use.

I think you should be more worried about removing the 4 speed.

 

yea i kno 4 speed sukz i wanna do a b20 swap and then later put on a b16 head but thats like next year. i got stock ecu, everything is stock.(really slow) wats the redline?

i picked up the same car a few weeks ago its a 1991 civic hatch std ed 4 speed. i had to drop a tach in it first thing before a started on the rust work but anyway it red lines at 7k for me.

i just searched and found about 6 usefull threads all explaining what your redline is but i feel like you should stretch that noggin of yours so im gunna let you search it..

It's definitely an easy way to check, but maybe not the safest on the car.
