Default More power without a swap

I heard that you can put a bigger head on a engine and it will have the same or more power than a mini me swap! I have a d15B7 and I wanted to know how I can increase power without swapping the motor, and is it possible to make this engine get 130hp? Im still new to the wonderful world of honda!

There are only 1 or 2 other heads you can put on that motor. And they both make it a mini me "swap". It's more of a conversion than anything else.

Do you know what heads they are and how much hp it will increase?

You're best bet is the D16Z6 head. But you'll need more than just a head. You'l get 25hp maybe.

Go here and all will be answered https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/554053

I say you do the "mini me" swap and then spray a 50 shot. I had a D16y8 and i had full bolt ons and a ZEX stage 1 cam and Skunk2 cam gear and i was sprayin a 50shot into it and when i got tuned i put dwn 143whp and 118lbs of torq. I say is you want to make descent power out of a SOHC ether spray or boost! haha!

doing a mini-me build would give you about the same hp as a stock d16z6

you can make 200 whp on stock internals easy on your d15 w/ boost.
