Hondata s200 vs s300, running rich, injectors, JRSC
i've been researching this for quite sometime and can't figure out the real big differences besides the s300 is newer and it has direct usb for a laptop or whatever. is the s200 going to do the same thing im assuming?
I have 99 civic coupe si with jrsc and it feels like its running really rich. i have been told to get an ecu, maybe new, bigger, better injecotrs, and fuel pressure reg. it feels like its going to die sometimes when i start out in first as in i have to give it more gas. any suggestions would be a great help.
maybe seafoam a couple of times before an oil change to clean out injectors and the carb build up? get new injectors?
thanks ahead of time

1) what the hell is the AEM UEGO? is it an ECU?
2) is there anything i can do in the meantime? the closest dyno is 4-5 hrs away, and its expensive
edit: they guy I bought the car from told me to replace the 6lb pully with 9lb and it will give about 50 more hp. but im afraid to do that without rebuilding the bottom end. am i correct, or should i be fine without rebuilding? car has about 47k on original motor.

If you are debating the s200 or the s300, the s300 is the best system to go with, especially if thre is no tuner close to you. You can make changes yourself with the s300 very easily. You should also consider getting a Wideband (I recommend the PLX).

1. It is a wideband oxygen sensor.
Description:
A wideband UEGO sensor controller accurately monitors Air/Fuel ratios (AFR) to prevent a lean fuel mixture, which could lead to engine damage. AEM has combined its single-channel wideband UEGO controller and gauge display into one unit, uniting unsurpassed AFR accuracy and control with an easy-to-read interface. AEM’s Gauge-Type Wideband UEGO Controller features a digital LED display and sweeping LED “needle” that changes colors as AFR changes from rich to lean. The unit’s 52mm (2-1/16”) gauge housing fits in most gauge pods and can be remotely mounted virtually anywhere.
2.The only thing you could do is buy a chipped obd1 ecu on a basemap & a wideband to drive the car on until you get it tuned. Then simply add an s100/s200 or neptune, ectune system to it later etc.

The price difference between the s200b and s300 is not very much at all.
