Default GSR MOTOR PROBLEM!

So I just did my 94 GS-R swap fresh re-build new pistions new rings, new bearings everything, did everything at TQ spec and when I start it, it leaks ALL the motor oil from the tranny side. Doesn't come from any other spots other than the tranny side. Don't know what the problem is, I'm thinking its coming from the crank seal. Don't know exactly whats going on. Anyone ever had this problem before?

its your rear main seal... to fix it you gotta take the tranny out and there will be a little plate with the seal that goes around the crank... you gotta take a few bolts off and take that out and replace the seal but make sure you put rtv back on the plate when bolt it back to the block... didnt do it with mine and it leaked like hell... or it could just be you forget the rtv on that plate like i did haha

I think it is the rear main seal. I was thinking that but when I put my block all together i RTV'D everything. But maybe i did forget. But i've put on the head gasket on backwards before. It was out of control it looked like a waterfall. Everything was so greasy and oily it was nasty as hell!

uhmmm. crank seal would be from the crank pulley side. u just said it came from the tranny side. so the would be the rear main seal. maybe u should check it
