Okay so Im turning the car to the acc postion and the gas pump is working. Its being dumped out of the line on the drivers side on the fuel rail. There is the gas feed line, on the passengers side then there is the fuel rail then there is the the thing attached to the fuel rail that cyphines through a small tube and thats where the gas is coming out of. Where does this line go

 

Do you have a Helms manual?

Your descriptions are less than stellar, but it sounds like you're talking about the fuel return line.

 

Replace the rubber hose with a new fuel hose and 2 new clamp's.

 

Yeah sorry for the vauge discription its the fuel pressure regulator. The hose that connects to that, IDK where it goes. Im looking at helms now in the fuel system section

 

There should be a metal hardline on the firewall. If you can't find it, trace it back from the gas tank.

When doing a swap, always check twice over every hose and connector before you start it.

 

Yeah Ill probally get to crank it over tommorrow. These H22a parts are hard to come by, not to mention more exspensive than h23. Im paying 47 bucks for a set of spark plugs.

 

You should just use plain copper plugs, even in the H22. Cost is about $2 per plug. That's all I use. I don't even bother with the platinum plugs.

I'll second that, I've tried most of the choices (denso iridium, ngk plat, ngk copper, bosch) and the ngk copper are the best deal.

 

Jusk got some of those and it was only 10 bucks for a full set. Run great

 

The hose runs from the fpr, then it bolts to the intake manifold( 1 10mm bolt), then straight back to the hard line.

Here is a pic. It's the one right next to the steering shaft that stops right after the 1st clamp.
