Default Heater core flush ?

Hey guys I have a 93 Civic Dx and I was wondering how would i go about flushing out my heater core ? My heat has always been acting up and I really don't want to go through another winter without hot air. TIA

Bump, I need to know also. I've heard stick a garden hose in the heat core outlet and let it drain out through the inlet. True?
