Re: need help taking out heater core (singlecam screamer)
I've only done it once, and we drained the whole cooling system, and unhooked those 2 hoses, which go directly into the heater core itself. We left the other ends plugged in. The hardest part for me was taking the dash out, then the heaterbox and blower. Another tough part was getting the hose clamps off the those 2 hoses down by the firewall, yours might be angled different so it might be easier. Then you have to pop a cap off the heaterbox to access the heater core. There might be an easier way to do it but you seem like you needed some desperate help.
By the way if you need a heater core, I have one for sale. PM me.

Yeah take the dash out, take those hoses off, and on my car there was a nut in the engine bay on the firewall that they didnt tell me about in my manual. Thats about it.
