Are you running NA or boosted?? I'm sure there will be a difference, but an LS/VTEC might be a better way to go...

Cams, high comp pistons, port+polish and you probably won't get as much out of it as you would doing an LS/VTEC.

your setup / future plans for the car / power goals would be helpful information.

there's gonna be a difference, but it also depends on what you already have done to the motor / which cams you're going to get.

if you want to stay NA, unless you get stage 1 cams, you're going to need to bump up your compression to get the most out of your cams. additionally be sho to get 'er tuned.

In my NA I had crower 404 cams (their strip cams) full valvetrain and built block of course.

Valve train was very loud, and lacked low end power, needed to adjust the valves quite a bit too. However had amazing mid and top end and I did love the sound of it.

However if i was to go another build i would go turbo instead of NA. Less of a headache and more gains for cheaper cost.

I have the 404's with the springs and retainers. It has good top end but it sucks on the low end that might have something to do with my intake manifold too.If you go 404's you should increase your compression ratio to get the most out of the cams.
