I have a da with a b20 swap. Having problem with ignition timing. Car is 16 degrees before TDC but lines up with white mark. zero degrees on red mark. Searched already. read one post about removing valve cover to set dist. timing. Any help would be appriciated. Tried to advance timing did not work. Car would not idle when cold outside.

 

yeah same here!
i set it 18 degrees on the single white line and at 0 it lands on the red line...
it runs ok.. but i would like to know the right set up??

I don't understand your situation.

 

I tried setting it by rotating the dissy but the lines dont match up the right way.
0 degrees on red and 16 on white. Only idles bad on a cold morning.

 

I tried setting the idle adustment screw the idle is low for about two minutes then it jumps up to 1200 rpm then it goes 800. I have to step on the gas until the car warms up. i tried cleaning the iacv but no luck. any suggestions thanks.
