If you're running a stock ITR LSD, use Honda MTF. You'll be fine.

I've used GM Synchroshift in the past, it also does a fine job.

Never use anything but Honda MTF, it has things that keeps the tranny working smooth.

if you sat down and compared the viscocity of normal 5-w30 oil with honda MTF...you will see quite a difference. You will also see that the 5w-30 oil is much thicker...and that the mtf runs like water compared.

ok I got bored and did a "Drip" test.

My tranny shifts smoother than ever before and the grinding 3rd mysteriously dissappeared. So far I don't see anything special about Honda MTF.
