Default H.I.D. and fm radio........

heres the deal, during the day i get great fm reception. At night when i use my headlights (1000k plug and play kit) i get **** FM reception. My question is... is there anyway to cover or move the box that controls the hids?

I can't say i've ever heard of that problem...i never noticed that with my HIDs. Where do you have the ballasts mounted?? You could surround them in lead

You could have a faulty ballast that is emitting excessive electrical noise. Try disconnecting one at a time to isolate the problem.

This isn't the first instance I've read about regarding aftermarket HID kits and radio interference, especially if it's a relatively inexpensive kit and you're running an aftermarket stereo. One thing you may want to try is grounding the HID ballasts separately, near their individual locations.
