Hey guys, I currently have an 04 DC5-S, I have a BC race Header and a tanabe exhaust system. The problem is that when i floor it and shift, my exhaust hits the frame of my car right underneath the shifter. It also does this when i down shift. The noise only lasts for about a few seconds but its a god awful noise. I was thinking that its because of the way the engine torques at high rpms and right under the shifter is where the exhaust comes closet to the frame of the car. I just bought new motor mounts and I'm hoping that they will eliminate the motor movement and stop the noise, but i cant put them in till this weekend. I was wondering if anyone knew what else it could be so i can address it when i change the mounts.
I have this same problem, but mine has gone away after awhile. The only time I notice it happen for some wierd reason is when it rains.....i have no idea why but it vibrates like a ****.

True story, I spelled my middle name wrong for 14 years because no one told me other wise. If it wasn't for MS word, i don't think i would have passed AP English or Literature, lol.
